To cease smoking is the easiest thing I ever did.
I ought to know because I've done it a thousand times.

What is Second Hand Smoke?
|
Secondhand smoke is a mixture of the smoke given off by the burning end of a cigarette, pipe, or cigar and the smoke exhaled from the lungs of smokers.
The mixture contains more than 4,000 substances. More than 43 of these substances are known to cause cancer. Secondhand smoke has been classified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a known cause of lung cancer in humans (Group A Carcinogen). Secondhand smoke causes approximately 3,000 lung cancer deaths in nonsmokers each year. Being around secondhand smoke causes irritation of the eye, nose, and throat. Secondhand smoke also irritates the lungs. This can lead to coughing, excess phlegm, chest discomfort, and difficulty in breathing.
